Burlap-Clover Door Hanging...

I wanted to come up with something for St. Patricks day for our door. Around our little town there isn't a lot of places to go for decorations for small holidays. So I dug out my Reynolds foil hearts (from the local Dollar Tree) and started by spray painting them green. NOT a good idea. The paint just ran right off of them. Then I got out some green paint I already had and painted each one. I used some hot glue to connect them together and did a great job burning myself. Next I strung ribbon or twine from them and connected them to the large Burlap ribbon I made. To give it a little more color I added another smaller ribbon with some clover ribbon. I think it turned out pretty cute.
These are the foils I used

Here it is!

  1. VERY cute! Jill's craftiness if rubbing off on you? : )

  2. I was going to say the same thing Mimi said! I Love it, what a cute idea!

  3. You're crafty too?! Nice work! It's great.

  4. What a cute project. So fun and festive!

Thanks for linking it up to my party!!!
